Heather Haymart

An artist that describes her work as abstract, contemporary, fine art, Heather Haymart is a St. Louis Artist that uses great colors and textures.  I came across her work via a website that sells a product used for faux surface textures on furniture.  It's called Wood Icing and it creates interesting textures on many surfaces.  I was very excited to see that it can also be used for fine art.  I'm definitely going to invest in some, which won't break the bank to much.  A quart of the Wood Icing costs about $20.  Check out the pieces Haymart was able to create with it!

Sand Serif

I love this!  Enjoy!
I'm not really a big fan of this kind of stock painting from websites like this, but I like the idea of transitioning from black and white to a single color over a triptych(you probably heard me mention on another post that triptych's are my favorite).  Just something to think about for my next painting!
Hmmmm...

This is the coolest motorcycle I've ever seen!

Mameshiba

A very random cartoon that my boyfriend came across this morning.  I was cracking up!  I'd add a description here, but there really isn't much to say.  It's call Mameshiba. Just watch, enjoy, and don't take it too seriously!  They also have cute keychains and plush toys available at Hot Topic.

Worldwide Sales for a Stay at Home Mom

Sorry about the poor quality on the video but her work is amazing!  It's great to see that someone is able to work from home, employ their spouse, spend time with their children, and sell their art WORLDWIDE!  Osnat Tzadok's work is AMAZING to say the least.  Her use of colors in her pieces is just phenomenal and the compositions are so smooth.  Definitely take a look at her site, you will not be disappointed!

Sheep?

Does anyone else see a sheep in this random piece of plaster?
Maybe it's just me...

Mango Tree

I love Angus and Julia Stone.  Their simple songs put me in a great mood, and they're perfect for driving through country back roads with no destination in mind!  They're a brother and sister duo from Sydney, Australia, who I've been listening to for years.  This video is pretty cool with all the effects, drawings and animations.  Check it out, then check them out on Twitter or Facebook!

Wow!  This is the coolest thing I've ever seen!  I really didn't know where he was going with it but the end result is AMAZING!  If you like it, you can find more at SPACEPAINTINGS.COM.
Cool stuff!  When I watched it the first time I kept thinking it was over but it just kept getting better!  Just a fun little thing to watch.  Enjoy!

Interactive Design

Check this site out.  It's by the designer Paul Neave and has some games and just fun stuff to do if you're bored or being lazy.  He also has a Twitter account.  Since his design is all "interactive design" its hard to show a picture here, so you'll just have to check it out for yourself!
